In the ‘Post-truth’ age of ‘fake news’ and ‘alternative facts’, where Orwell’s 1984 is back as a bestseller and the likes of Saturday Night Live and John Oliver are struggling to keep up with the antics of the Alt-Right, what role does political satire have to play in today’s media?
