Interested in furthering your poetic career? We’re hosting the Intervarsity Slam Trinity heat this Thursday! All welcome to enter and attend. You will need two poems to be elligible to perform.

We are super excited to have as our judges, litsoc alumni and amazing poet Alicia Byrne Keane and last years inter varsity champion Niall Donnelly. There will be 2 winners who will go on to represent Trinity in the inter varsity slam later this year.

Rules
– Poems must be under 3 minutes and memorised
– No props, costumes or backing tracks
– Poems must be original work of performer
– You will need 2 poems to compete (opening round then final)

Note* We acknowledge that the time frame between now and Thursday doesn’t leave much room for you to prepare properly so our judges will position themselves on the lenient side of the rules.
